Iran’s domestic billets and rebars prices continued their uptrend due to cold weather in the region. Supply of billets and rebars is limited due to a lack of supply of direct-reduced iron (DRI) in the domestic market which has also supported prices.
- Steel billets prices surged 11,000 Rial/kg to 198,500 Rial/kg against 8 Feb’23.
- Rebars prices stood at 245,000 Rial/kg, a sharp increase of 22,500 Rial/kg.
