India: Aluminium scrap prices inch down on limited enquiry

India’s domestic aluminium scrap prices fell by up to 1.2% today on low buying enquiries and lessening future contracts on LME.
Tense scrap prices stood at INR 165,000/t ($1,995/t), utensil grade at INR 173,000/t ($2,093/t) and extrusion grade at INR 180,000/t ($2,177/t).
Some scrap sellers restrained their offers and opted wait & watch mode on moderate scrap supplies particularly tense grade scrap, exy and excluding GST.
