Iran: Domestic billet, rebar prices increase amid supply concerns

Iran’s domestic billet prices headed north this week, driven by the strengthening of the US dollar and tightened supply. Similarly, rebar prices increased, in response to limited billet availability and production disruptions caused by power and gas shortages, sources informed BigMint.

• Billet prices climbed up by 6,500 rial/kg to 284,000 rial/kg on 27 Jan’25 against 22 Jan.
• Rebar prices increased by 2,000 rial/kg to 325,000 rial/kg on 27 Jan’25 as against 22 Jan.
