Iran: Billet, rebar prices rise amid supportive market sentiments

Iran’s domestic billet prices continue to head north on rising DRI costs and an appreciating exchange rate. The increase in billet prices, coupled with upward pressure from the stock market, has contributed to a rise in rebar prices.

• Billet prices rose by 3,500 Rial/kg to 293,500 Rial/kg on 5 Feb’25 against 3 Feb.
• Rebar prices increased by 2,000 Rial/kg to 334,000 Rial/kg on 5 Feb as against 3 Feb.
