Iran: Billet production of major mills witness a rise of 2% y-o-y

During the first five months of the current Iranian year (20 Mar-20 Aug’20), the billet output of Iran’s prime steel producers stood at 9.2 mn t, IMIDRO report says. During the fifth month, the same recorded at 1.7 mn t, up 2% y-o-y. The rise in production was due to increased crude steel output, which registered a 7% rise, CPLY.
