South India markets have
remained disturbed since summers owing to poor power supply to the industrial
sector resulting in price increments in intervals.
Ingot in Chennai has
been trading in the range of Rs 36,500-37,500/MT over the last of couple of
weeks with low off-take. Traders say that the market has been quite dull with
limited movement leading to low trading benefits.
Coimbatore, that largely
caters to manufacturers in Palakkad (Kerela), has witnessed low trade volumes
too. Ingot has been trading in the range of Rs 38-39000/MT.
