India: Billet prices might come down the next week

“Billet prices might fall in Chhattisgarh the next week and buyers are expected to take material at low prices. Sellers have no reasons to either maintain or increase prices, down by Rs 400/MT in a week”, said a trader.

“Due to continuing strike of rolling mills and furnaces and shortage of material, prices rise by Rs 400/MT this week”, said another trader.

In a week's time, offers rise by Rs 200/MT in Mumbai, by Rs 400/MT in Goa and Kandla respectively.

Prices stabilized at Hyderabad and slipped by Rs 200/MT and Rs 300/MT at Chennai and Rourkela respectively.
