Indonesia’s coal export ban likely to be lifted – Senior Minister

The Indonesian government is likely to allow coal exports to resume by the end of Monday or Tuesday (11 Jan’22) and release some big vessels, senior minister Luhut Pandjaitan was quoted as saying by CNBC Indonesia today. The government has managed to ensure coal supplies to state utility PLN and is drawing up a new pricing structure for DMO to let PLN buy coal at market price.
