Two parcels of 30,000 t and 50,000 t of steel billets were recently exported by Indonesia’s Dexin Steel to Europe and East Africa at around $515-518/t on FOB basis, sources informed SteelMint. Offers have now been increased to $525/t FOB. Indonesia’s steel billet exports rose by 26.86% m-o-m in Jun’22 to 0.13 mnt against 0.09 mnt in May’22, as per customs data.
