India: South African RB3 coal sold at INR 14,100/t at Vizag Port

In a confirmed deal, 1,000 t of South African RB3 (4800 kcal/kg NAR) grade coal was booked at INR 14,100/t at Vizag Port while offers for mid-CV RB2 (5500 kcal/kg NAR) were at INR 17,100/t at the port. While sponge iron manufacturers continued to make small parcel bookings of RB3 coal, demand for RB2 coal remained weak due to elevated prices.
