Indonesia: Steel billets imports fall over 20% m-o-m in October

Indonesia’s steel billets imports declined by 23.87% m-o-m to 276,225 t in Oct’22 against 362,842 t in Sep’22, as per Customs data.
Oman was the largest exporter with 171,899 t followed by Russia with 59,675 t.
Cumulative import volumes were slightly up by 3% y-o-y to 2.8 mnt in Jan-Oct’22 as against 2.72 mnt in the same period last year.
