Indonesia: Steel billets exports rise over 60% m-o-m in Oct’22

Indonesia’s steel billets exports moved up by 65.2% m-o-m to 264,715 t in Oct’22 against 160,199 t in September, as per Customs data.
The Philippines emerged as the largest importer with 107,679 t followed by Taiwan with 39,480 t.
Total export volumes decreased by 28.4% y-o-y to 1.81 mnt in Jan-Oct’22 as against 2.51 mnt in the year-ago period.
