Indonesia: Steel billet exports rise over 30%, m-o-m, in April

Indonesia’s steel billet exports rose 34.06% m-o-m in Apr’22 to 0.25 mnt from 0.19 mnt in Mar, as per customs data.
Italy was the largest importer at 0.12 mnt followed by the Philippines at 0.05 mnt.
However, export volumes decreased marginally by 7% on year to 0.79 mnt in Jan-Apr’22 as against 0.85 mnt in the year-ago period.
