Indonesia: Finished flat stainless steel imports rise by over 16% m-o-m in Oct’22

Indonesia’s stainless steel imports stood at 15,843 t in Oct’22, an increase of 16% from volumes imported in Sept’22 which was around 13,674 t.
China stood as the largest supplier with 6,580 t followed by Japan and Malaysia with 4,811 t and 3,450 t, respectively.
Total imports from Jan-Oct’22 stood at 1,95,601 t with an increase of 6% as compared to the previous year.
