Central India’s Sarda Energy and Minerals Limited has received ‘consent to operate’ from Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board to enhance the production capacity of its iron ore pellet plant from existing 600,000 t to 800,000 t, the company reported in a BSE filing. It is an integrated steel mill and one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of ferro alloys in India.
