India’s Chrome Ore Imports Down 6% y-o-y in FY21

In financial year 2020-21 (FY21), India’s chrome ore imports were reported at 142,037 tonnes (t), down by around 6% y-o-y against 151,900 t in FY20.

South Africa stood as the largest exporter during the year at 112,145 t, down 13% y-o-y, while Mozambique was the second-largest exporter at 20,640 t followed by Oman at 4,319 t and Turkey at 4,450 t.
