It is reported to
SteelMint that no major deals have closed in the Indian Ferro Alloys market as
prices continue to remain flat this week. Production levels have reached almost
50% of the capacities across India.
Raipur: Silico
Manganese prices have slightly dropped by Rs 500/MT on the back of falling
demand. 60/15 grade is offered in the range of Rs 54,000-500/MT. Ferro
Manganese HC 70-75% is being offered at Rs 55,000/MT Ex Raipur.
“There are no signs of
improvement in the Ferro Alloys market. Production levels have come down to 50%
across India on poor buying interest. Prices are likely to remain same in the
coming days. Any revival can be seen only by the end of this month”, said a manufacturer based
in Raipur.
Durgapur: Silico
Manganese 60/14 prices remain remains at Rs 54,500- 55,000/MT.
Vizag: Market
is largely following the current demand and inventory situations. Silico
Manganese 60/14 prices remain unchanged at Rs 55,000/MT. Ferro Manganese HC
70-75% also traded same at Rs 56,500/MT Ex Vizag.
According to a market
source, “Trades are likely to happen only on the basis of current demand
and stock situation. If demand picks up, prices may move up further. But suppliers
who have enough stockpile, may keep their offers same.”
