Due to sharp improvement in billet prices, structure market has remained either firm or risen sharply in domestic market. Small scale manufacturer have increased offers by INR 100-1,000/MT W-o-W for all grades.
Major price hike is seen in Raipur (light structure) and Mumbai by INR 1,000/MT followed by INR 900/MT respectively. heavy structure prices remained firm in central.
Sharp recovery in raw material (scrap) and semi finished (billet) lead rising price of structure. Billet 125×125 mm offers have increased by INR 800-1,500/MT across major market and hovering at the range of INR 23,450-27,600/MT.
On the flip side, Durgapur remained stable in a week time amid weak demand and lull trade activity despite the increase in billet prices.
Intervening, 40×40 mm angle is being offered in Durgapur at INR 29,000/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 28,000/MT, Mumbai at INR 30,200/MT, Raipur at INR 27,700/MT and in Hyderabad at INR 29,200/MT.
Currently, 200×75 mm channel offers are evaluated in Durgapur at INR 28,500/MT, Ghaziabad at INR 32,100/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 28,700/MT, Mumbai at INR 30,900/MT and in Raipur at INR 28,000/MT.
On the same time, 200×100 mm beam offers are assessed in Durgapur at INR 28,500/MT, Ghaziabad at INR 31,600/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 28,500/MT, Mumbai at INR 31,500/MT and in Raipur at INR 27,500/MT.
