Indian sponge iron export offers increase by $10/t on domestic price gains

Indian sponge iron export prices increased by $10/t, as per SteelMint’s weekly assessment. Current offers stand at $295/t CPT Benapole (equivalent to $310/t CFR Chittagong, Bangladesh). Eastern India based exporters cited, small parcels of about 3,000-4,000 t were concluded at the beginning of this week at around $290/t CPT, however, later prices increased following a rise in the domestic price by INR 1,000/t ($14), w-o-w.
