Govt owned Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) conducted auctions for 15,800 t basic grade pig iron from its three plants yesterday. The auction fetched decent response with bids as follows: INR 27,400/t ex-Rourkela, INR 26,100/t ex-Bokaro and INR 26,800-27,850/t ex-Burnpur. Bids in Rourkela remained flat, however in ISP increased by INR 1000/t against last auction on 30 Sept’20.
