Indian sponge iron export demand limited on rising offers

SteelMint’s weekly Indian sponge iron export price assessment rose by $10-15/t to $475-480/t CPT Nepal, (FeM 80%, lumps 70%, fines 30%).
Offers for Bangladesh stand at $430-435/t CPT Benapole.
No fresh export deal for lump-based DRI (C-DRI) was heard while only about one rake of pellet-based DRI (P-DRI) was sold at $415-$420/t LTW from eastern India, equivalent to $435-$440/t CPT Nepal.
A significant price rally resulted in dull demand for exports.
