The induction furnace rebar market remained dull today and prices corrected downwards in all regions except in western India. Raw material (sponge iron and billet) prices fell sharply today. After a slight improvement in yesterday’s trading session, dull spot trades and lower buying enquiries for rebar were again seen in the spot market today. Suppliers offered tradable discounts as per requirements and payment terms.
