Indian Pig Iron offers stand at $430-450/MT (Ex works)

Pig Iron is being offered
in the range of INR 24,000-25,000/MT, $430-450/MT (Ex works). 

Manufacturers quote lower
prices in line with the Nation's largest producers like NINL and RINL. Buyers were not willing to place any new bookings at previous prices. High power tariff and power
availability issues also account for lower offers.

Manufacturers across India quote low prices in locations such as Chennai (steel grade) and Giridih (steel grade) by Rs 500/MT, Mandi (steel & foundry grade) and Delhi (steel grade) by Rs 400/MT and Rs 300/MT respectively and Durgapur (steel grade) and Ludhiana (foundry grade) by Rs 200/MT.
