Billet prices move up by Rs 500/t in Hyderabad on fresh power cuts

“Billet is being quoted by Rs 500/MT more at Hyderabad. On account of Islamic festival, power is being available for only around a couple of days in a week which was four days prior to this. Demand for Billet is moderate”, said a Hyderabad based manufacturer.

Billet is being traded low by Rs 300/MT at Mandi and Rourkela. Whereas, a rise by Rs 300/MT is witnessed in Goa.

A trader at Mandi sold around 200 tons of material and reported that on expectations of SAIL to cut HR & CR offers, Billet is being quoted at low price.
