SteelMint’s assessment for steel grade pig iron exports stands at $705/t FOB, lower by $20/t w-o-w. No deal was heard to be concluded this week on bid-offer disparities, informed sources. India’s pig iron export shipments were recorded at 1.07 million tonnes (mnt) in FY22.
