HR strip (patra) prices dropped by INR 100/t ($1/t) in Raipur and remained stable in Mandi Gobindgarh due to weak demand on 14 May 2022. The current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices are assessed at INR 57,400/t ($741/t) exw-Raipur and INR 58,500/t ($755/t) exw-Mandi, excluding GST at 18%. On a weekly comparison, prices declined by INR 2,700/t ($35/t) in Raipur and by INR 2,500/t ($32/t) in Mandi.
