Domestic melting scrap prices in western India (Jalna) continued to increase owing to tight supply movement from other locations. Prices moved up by INR 200/t d-o-d. Current trade reference price of HMS (80:20) stands at INR 20,000/t FoR. Prices may remain supported till lockdown period, sources anticipated.
