MMTC has concluded three seperate export tenders for 15,000 MT Chrome Ore; 43,000 MT Chrome Concentrate; and 4,000 MT Chrome Concentrate.

MMTC Tender for export of 15,000 MT Friable Chrome Ore
The company had invited interested overseas buyers for purchase of 15,000 MT Friable chrome ore (50/48% Chromiun content) of Indian origin through its export tender. The material has been offered by Misrilall Mines Pvt. Ltd. (MMPL), Odisha. Shipment for this tender is due on or before 30 Apr’16 from Paradip port.
This tender expired on 31 Mar’16, and has been awarded to Avani Resources Pte. Ltd., a Singapore based Company at USD 153/MT FOB Paradip port.
MMTC Tender for export of 43,000 MT Chrome Concentrate
The company had invited interested overseas buyers for purchase of 35,000 MT chrome concentrate (50/48% Cr) and 8,000 MT low silica chrome concentrate (56/54% Cr) of Indian origin through its export tender, for shipment of Chrome Concentrate between 19-30 Apr’16; and Low Silica Chrome Concentrate between 1-10 May’16 respectively.
The material has been offered by Tata Steel, Indian origin. This tender expired on 4 Apr’16, and has been awarded to Tata Steel Asia (Hong Kong) Limited at USD 157/MT FOB Paradip Port.
MMTC Tender for export of 4,000 MT Chrome Concentrate
In another export tender MMTC had invited interested overseas buyers for purchase of 4,000 MT chrome concentrate (50% Cr). The material has been offered by K L Resources Pvt. Ltd., Indian origin. This tender has also been awarded to Avani Resources Pte. Ltd at USD 153/MT FOB Paradip port.
Avani Resources Pte. Ltd. is a commodities trading company. It is headquartered in Singapore with representing offices / agents in China, India and London. Currently, they physically handle about 5 MnT of commodities annually originating and distributing to countries in Asia – India, China, Myanmar, Middle East.
