The Indian billet export prices have gone up by $25-30/t in a recent bloom export tender hosted by a state-owned mill. The tender floated for was 30,000 t quantity, 4SP grade, and end-Dec’20 shipments. According to SteelMint sources, the tender reported having received bids at $475-480/t, FoB levels. SteelMint’s last week’s assessment for Indian billet (150*150mm, BF route, FoB east coast) was at $450/t.
