Raipur-based steel wire rod suppliers saw dull buying enquiries and trading activity today owing to weak semi-finished sentiments. Most of the wire rod manufacturers are offering a base price at INR 50,500/t exw today. Despite this, no recovery in demand has been seen in the spot market which forced them to further offer discounts of INR 300-500/t, SteelMint learned.
