Induction route-steel wire rod manufacturers in Raipur market increased prices today by INR 500/t to INR 50,500/t exw d-o-d in an anticipation of a pick-up in trade in the spot market. A rise in semi-finished steel prices in late-hours yesterday supported mill owners to hike prices. However, purchase enquiries remained weak on higher prices and trade discounts via resellers were at around INR 2,000/t.
