Induction furnace-route steel wire rod manufacturers in Raipur increased prices today by INR 500-800/t to INR 54,800-55,000/t exw. However, buying enquiries were slow due to higher prices. Around 1,200 t of deals were recorded in the spot market. Trade discounts via resellers were hovering at INR 1,200-1,500/t. Prices in Durgapur market were at around INR 54,000/t exw.
