Indian Metcoke manufacturers lower their offers by 3-8% by adjusting prices according to demand and prevailing low international Coke prices.
SteelMint noted that western region Coke manufacturers also lowered their prices by INR 500-1,500/MT in view of low international Coke prices. Imported Coke is trading at around USD 200-210/MT on CFR in India, however no shipment reached yet to port at above price.
Demand for Coke is stable, whereas overseas pressure has dragged the prices down and manufacturers sells Blast Furnace Coke at around INR 16,000-16,500/MT Ex-Kandla.

SteelMint observed that few players have stopped their production and waiting for market to recover. Down market led to close production of 3-4 Coke plants at western region. Other producers has slowed their production and working with around 70% of their capacity.

Major Coke producers such as Gujurat NRE & Sourashtra Fuels sell Coke of 40-60 mm at around INR 16,000-16,500/MT.
