Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), one of the major producers of steel in India, is inviting tender for procurement of Medium Carbon (MC) Silico Manganese at Salem Steel Plant (SSP).
Eligibility
- Material should be supplied from abroad only
- Participant should have past record of supplying 600 MT (MC) Silico Manganese in single or multiple lots in any of preceding last three year i.e. FY11, FY12 & FY13
- If Indian agent submits bid on behalf of foreign principle and the offer is directly submitted by the foreign principal against this tender then foreign principle offer shall be considered
- High sea sales will not be considered
- Offered quantity should be 70% of tender
- The company can take order from more than one tenderer

- Manganese: 55% min
- Silicon: 20% min
- Carbon: 0.5% max
- Size: 10-70 mm
Quantity: 2,000 MT
Delivery: As per SSP schedule
