Leading state-owned long steel producer, Vizag Steel, has scheduled an e-auction for around 1,800 t of pooled iron on 10 Jan’22. At the steelmaker’s previous auction conducted on 3 Jan, buyers booked 1,050 t of pooled iron at a weighted average price of INR 36,000/t exw. The bid price increased by INR 450/t compared to an earlier auction conducted on 28 Dec.
