State-owned Vizag Steel has scheduled an e-auction for around 2,400 t of steel grade pig iron on 6 Nov’21. The steelmaker’s previous pig iron auction, conducted on 16 Oct, didn’t receive active response due to the high base price set by the company’s management. Buyers had booked only 600 t out of 1,500 t offered at INR 45,100/t exw.
