Leading state-owned long steel producer, Vizag Steel, has scheduled an e-auction for around 2,700 t of pooled iron on 2 Dec’21. At the steelmaker’s previous auction conducted on 23 Nov, buyers booked 2,000 t of pooled iron at a weighted average price of INR 35,600/t exw. The bid prices were more or less stable compared to an earlier auction held on 18 Nov.
