Melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang recovered by INR 500/t on 30 Nov’21. The trade reference price of HMS (80:20) is assessed at INR 37,000/t, while attachment scrap prices are at INR 38,000/t. Scrap prices surged following a rise in semi-finished steel prices in yesterday’s trading session, SteelMint learnt from market sources.
