FACOR (Vedanta) held an auction for ferro chrome on 20 May. Both bigger and smaller lots of 10-150mm size are booked at near the floor price at INR 122,200/t and INR 123,500/t ex-Jajpur, Odisha, respectively. The poor response was the result of weak demand amid a downtrend in stainless steel prices. In the last held auction on 10 May, the 10-150mm lot was sold at INR 127,200/t ex-Jajpur.
