Notably Vedanta is one of the largest merchant pig iron supplier in Indian market with 0.8 MnT pa pig iron plant. Its pig iron production moved up by 8% Y-o-Y to 708,000 MT in FY17.
As a part of its growth plan, Vedanta is planning to set up blast furnace and value addition facilities across India
EOI is hereby invited from experienced and reputed EPC vendors –
1. Blast Furnace -500m3 volume with state of art technology with matching sinter plant, coke plant, oxygen plant, power plant and auxiliaries.
2. Ductile Iron Pipe Plant of latest technology to produce 300,000 ton per annum with size ranging from 80NB-1200NB.
3. 25,000 ton per annum iron & alloy powder plant with all auxiliaries.
