Vedanta (FACOR) held an auction for ferro chrome on 5 Apr’22 in which minimal participation was observed, although the entire quanity was sold. The H1 price was INR 117,000/t for a large lot of 10-150mm HC ferro chrome. The ferro chrome auction was concluded close to floor prices, and it might impact the ferro chrome spot prices in the near term, sources informed.
