India: Total quantity booked at SAIL-DSP pig iron auction as bids drop INR 500/t

SAIL-Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) held an auction for 1,500 t of steel grade pig iron on 29 Sep’22. The entire quantity was booked at an average price of INR 44,000/t exw.
In the previous auction on 20 Sep, 1,500 t was booked at an average price of INR 44,500/t exw.
However, another auction from the Burnpur plant today was closed for 100 t with no bids received.
