China: Steel billets prices stable d-o-d, rebar futures edge up

Steel billets prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable d-o-d at RMB 3,700/t ($518/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 29 Sep’22. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for Jan’23 delivery closed today at RMB 3,836/t ($537/t), witnessing an increase of RMB 13/t ($2/t), d-o-d.
