Pellet sponge (P-DRI, FeM 80%) prices in Raipur remained stable today at INR 31,000/t exw despite the fall in billet prices to the tune of INR 200/t. Sources said material dispatch positions remained tight at a majority of plants, which continued to support sponge prices. Prices are expected to inch up once demand picks up.
- A few deals for P-DRI were reported at around INR 31,000/t today versus offers at INR 31,000-31,100/t on exw and FoR Raipur basis.
- Offers for DR CLO grade sponge iron remained stable at INR 34,000-34,200/t. Offers for C-DRI mix material were reported at INR 33,000-33,200/t exw.
