India: Telangana crusher’s strike affects portside Australian coal trade

Telangana’s Stone Crushers Association went on a strike from late April amid government’s order to the crushers to stop crushing activity due to absence of valid licenses and environmental clearances. Subsequently, construction activities in the state have come to a halt, impacting portside trade of Australian coal especially in eastern ports. Amid absence of bids, there are no offers and the last trade for Aus-5500 NAR was heard at INR 20,000/t ex-Vizag.
