Indian steel major, Tata Steel, is aiming to double its domestic crude steel capacity to 40 mn t per year by 2030 from the current 20 mn t/year, as per latest reports. Furthermore, the company plans to increase its global crude steel capacity to 55 mn t/year by CY’30. The company is also targeting to ramp up domestic steel production capacity to 25 mn t/year by CY’25.
