India: Supreme Court defers Goa iron ore mining case hearing to 25th Sept

The crucial Goa iron ore mining case didn’t come up for hearing in the Supreme Court on 9th Sept’20 and the next hearing has been scheduled for 25th Sept’20, Advocate General Devidas Pangam has informed the media. The apex court is hearing a review petition filed by the Goa government challenging the court’s 2018 verdict quashing 88 mining licenses and a special leave petition filed by the Vedanta Group.
