Heavy structural steel prices in Raipur, central India, declined by INR 1,000/t d-o-d. The current offer for 150mm channel stands at INR 65,000/t. Manufacturers are offering trade discounts of around INR 1,000/t depending upon buying enquiries. Weak demand for structural steel amid high prices and falling raw material costs have led to a decline in prices, SteelMint learnt from sources.
