Heavy structural steel prices in Raipur have declined by INR 1,000/t d-o-d, as per latest reports. The current offer for 150 mm channel stands at INR 50,000/t exw. Trade discounts offered by sellers are at INR 800-1,000/t. Lack of transactions in the spot market amid dull demand and falling raw material prices are prompting manufacturers to reduce offers.
