India: Stainless steel coil prices rise amid cost pressures, supply disruptions

One of India’s leading stainless steel producers has announced a fresh price increase for flat products, effective 25 March, marking the third hike in the month. Prices for 304 (HR & CR), 316/316L (HR & CR), 202 (HR & CR), and 400 (HR & CR) coils have been raised by INR 3,000/t. The increase comes amid persistent supply disruptions, rising logistics costs, and geopolitical tensions affecting the availability of industrial gases.
